Travel Photos // Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia 2013

Hi everyone!

Sorry for being so terrible at blogging - I've kinda fallen out with it at the moment but I'll try to rekindle it as I begin to resettle into university!

Meanwhile, here are some snaps from my trip to Asia in September!

Willabelle Ong // Pale Division

Hi People!

So I thought I would post something about my favourite fashion blogger on the face of this earth!

Her name's Willabelle Ong and she writes Pale Division - if you haven't heard of her, get over there now! She's style-amazing (and that's an understatement).

After finding her a few years ago on, I've been following her fashion journey since and I wanted to post some of my favourite photos of her from her lookbook and share the inspiration that she gives me!

Hope you enjoyed looking through her incredible looks!
Let me know if you know any awesome fashion bloggers like Willabelle!

Thanks for reading ;)

The Heat // Now You See Me

Hey everyone!

Bit of a different post because I've had no life recently and abusing my summer job by watching movies! I've recently seen 'The Heat' and 'Now You See Me' (pictures underneath) and I wanted to tell you about them!

The Heat

I absolutely LOVED this movie - it had me laughing constantly all the way through. Nothing beats a bit of Sandra Bullock as an FBI agent but throw in Melissa McCarthy and that ladies and gentleman makes a hit comedy!

Absolutely LOVED this bit. Taped faces - definitely going to feature on my next night out! Haha!

On first impressions, you may think this is a girly flick but honestly, I think this is a movie for all (over 15...)! The overuse of swearing and rude humour was right up my street! I'd definitely recommend this - although it was free for me to watch, it is DEFINITELY one worth going to the cinema for!

Now You See Me
(Probably a useless review as I watched this at the last showing at my local cinema but still, it deserves a rave review from me!)

In a succinct way - this movie was fantastic! I absolutely enjoyed every minute of it and it had me on the edge all the way through! What I loved the most was how it was unpredictable at times because it involved magic - I mean come on, who doesn't love a bit of magic! Gorgeous visuals and fantastic music - I was bouncing when Zedd - Codec came on! Aww yeah Zedd - yes please.

My only criticism would be the ending - it was a tiny bit underwhelming and seriously confused me. Maybe it's just me though because someone else explained it to me who had understood it all clearly! Also another great movie I'd definitely recommend watching if it's still showing at your local cinema!

(Zedd - Codec)

Hope you liked my little short reviews!

Let me know if you've seen any great films lately! I really want to see Kick-Ass 2 and Romeo and Juliet when they come out! Douglas Booth and Ed Westwick - YES. YES PLEASE. Anyday. Perfect casting - thank you casting people.

Our starcrossed lovers.

I don't really like what they've done to Ed Westwick's hair though...
Irrelevant images but they're extremely attractive - you can't deny that one.
As a film it will most likely not beat Baz Luhrmann's epic but casting wise - they've won me over.

Lots of love,

July Favourites

Hi everyone!

Can't believe a month has already passed - although I have to admit I have not been dilligent with blogging and been too busy making the most out of my free time outside of work!

So since the month has ended, here are my favourites of this month! To be honest there isn't very much in terms of favourites in the beauty and fashion department but the best things come in small packages!

ASOS Premium Jewelled Bib Necklace
I've featured this is my previous outfit of the day - I absolutely love this necklace! Makes any boring outfit look elegant and eye catching! Definitely a great investment this month.

O.P.I. Nail Lacquer in Happy Anniversary
I purchased this from Fragrance Direct for a bargain price of £3.99 but it looks absolutely beautiful after a couple of coats on the nails. Sparkly, subtle and simple - an all round fantastic nail polish colour for the everyday!

Zara Metallic Frame Sunglasses
I found these gorgeous sunglasses in the Zara sale for £5.99 which includes the sturdy case with cleaning cloth which I really liked! These sunglasses are a bit big and bold but I really love the shape, the silver frame and how they're a bit more special than standard plastic sunglasses!

Paperchase Oliveto Frame
One of my best friends bought me this for my birthday and I absolutely love this frame. It holds photos in place through small magnetic dots and frames my photographs very elegantly! I love how easy it is to change pictures and it's a simple yet beautiful decoration for a photo lover like me! I'd definitely recommend this as a present if you have a birthday coming up to buy for!

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Spot Wand
I love trying out own brand face products because sometimes I don't think branded products are worth the hype - especially for spot treatments. I absolutely love this two ended stick - one end for day and another formula for night. It helps keep my spots at bay when they arise and smells wonderful! It was also reasonably priced at £3.59 compared to other brands and stores who sell plain tea tree oil for much higher prices! I'd definitely recommend this for people who have the occasional blemish and want to keep it under control.

App of the Moment: Pulse

I'm very into keeping up to date with news and media outlets so this app has been absolutely fantastic! Pulse can keep me occupied for hours looking through and reading articles, watching videos and browsing through images. Some of my favourite media outlets on here have to be BBC News, Vice (for the radical side in me) and Ted Talks (which I absolutely love watching on youtube). However, there is so much choice I'm always delving into other publications - as long as the picture/headline grips me, I'm there.

Music of the Moment
I've been absolutely loving Iggy Azalea - after seeing her briefly at Wireless Festival, I really want to see one of her solo concerts now - definitely an artist to keep at eye on!

'My World'

Well that's all for this month! Thank you for reading through - let me know if you have any recommendations; I'm always looking to try new things! :)

My Favourite iPad Games

Hi everyone!

So I'm a huge fan of my iPad and I absolutely love it - I carry it all over the house with me and whenever I travel! I do enjoy playing a good game on it so here are some of my favourite games on the iPad!

Uno & Friends

I've been really enjoying this game at the moment (as mentioned in my June Favourites post). Check that out to see my opinions on this game!

Hope you like my cute user photo in the game 'The Great Catsby' that I found on tumblr! How cute!
Not sure how much the other players appreciated my picture though...

Grand Theft Auto III

Quite a boy-ish game but I absolutely love the Grand Theft Auto games! Although its awful, I've been playing them intermittently (I've never owned the game) since I was 12/13 - influence of older cousins! I suppose my sadistic side enjoys this game slightly?

The iPad version is really fun and quite easy to control - both movement & shooting! There's also quite a large amount of missions to do so its definitely value for money!

Whale Trail

This game is absolutely adorable and I think its a game suitable for all ages - especially children as it features calm, happy music with bright colours and easy controls.

The aim of the game is to navigate the while up and down to eat these colourful rainbow bubbles in order to fuel it further -the whale is always losing fuel so crashing into grey clouds or not collecting bubbles will cause it to lose energy and end the game!

Take It Easy

Take It Easy is a great game and is slightly hard to explain to someone who hasn't tried it why it's fun! It definitely helps to engage your brain a little as the key to winning is by joining up hexagons with same coloured pipes in order to reach different sides of the hexagon and thus gain those points on the pipes.

There are a variety of different games with different rules as to how many points you have to collect, where you can put hexagons down and time limits. It teaches you how to play the game from the beginning which is very helpful and straightforward and before you know it you'll be on this game for hours!

I got this game free when it was the app of the week however currently its £1.99 on iTunes.

Draw Quest

I saw Draw Quest on another blog about a month ago and thought it looked so cute and fun! Although I don't play this all the time, I really enjoy it when I do and it definitely engages the creative side of my brain!

Song of the Moment

Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash, John Martin - Reload

Do you have any great iPad game recommendations?

Much Love!

OOTD // Tie Dye Upgrade

So I went out for Korean food with my family and our family friends all the way from Hong Kong a few days ago and this is what I wore! Originally I was just styling this shirt to see if it worked with my new necklace from the ASOS sale but I ended up just wearing it and going out!

(T-Shirt -, Necklace - ASOS, Skirt - Topshop)

I had the usual with my family consisting of a variety of kimchi and other Korean starters and barbeque for the main course - love beef bulgogi! Do you like Korean food?

I've been working for the past 4 days so been busy busy busy but I did see Monsters University yesterday! It was absolutely adorable and I truly enjoyed myself at the movies!  I'd definitely recommend the movie - baby Mike Wazowski is ADORABLE!

Speak soon!

Lots of Love,

Mayfield Lavender // Day Out

Hello Virtual World!

How're you doing?

Yesterday I decided to spend a couple of hours at Mayfield Lavender in Surrey! It was an absolutely beautiful lavender field and looked amazing in the blazing sun - heatwaves are great!

Here are some photos of my trip there - hope you enjoy flicking through! :)

Selfie in the Lavender!

It was an absolutely lovely afternoon and I ended up buying a cute little pot with bunches of lavender in it to decorate the house! It smells incredible!

Anyways, not much to update really! Been busy enjoying the sunshine and working!
