Summer Swimwear /// Student Budget Style

Hello!

Summer beach season is fast approaching as June rolls in so I thought I'd do a post about swimwear out there in 3 budget categories - Under £15, Under £30 and £30+ - something to suit everyone!

As a student, I thought it would be helpful to find bikinis to suit everyone's budget this summer - realistically, no one's really going to pay £50+ for a bikini they'll only wear a couple times this summer (unless you're working/loaded)! If I had that money, I'd rather spend it on the actual holiday!

1 - Topshop £12
2 - BooHoo £14
3 - Littlewoods £12
4 - ASOS £10
Bikini Top No.4 is great if you already have old matching bottoms and want to revamp and old look!
I was shocked by the amount of choice for bikinis under £15! BooHoo and Littlewoods definitely have more in this price range and I'd definitely recommend checking out their products!

1- Missguided £19.99
2 - BooHoo £16
3 - River Island £25
4 - River Island £22
5 - Topshop £25
Under £30 was a surprisingly hard price range - nice bikinis are shockingly expensive!? I'd definitely check out Missguided if you like bikini no.1 as they do a lot of lovely styles as well as a blue/purple variation of this bikini. ASOS also house a lot of great styles as well as River Island.

1 - ASOS £32
2 - ASOS £30
3 - Topshop £32
4 - Black Milk Clothing £58
Easiest price bracket to shop for as there are a huge number of expensive bikinis on the market however I tried to stick close to the £30 mark as most students don't want to be spending loads on such small pieces of material! Black Milk was just a bit of a splurge item although I've heard great things about their quality and they really do make truly unique pieces!

Hope you enjoyed the post! Are you going anyway exotic this summer?

Tag // Colours of the Rainbow

Hello internet people!

So I saw this tag about a week ago from Becky (TalkBeckyTalk on Youtube) and felt a little inspired to share my favourite products in the colours of the rainbow although I have changed it a little.

So for the tag, you have to choose your favourite product(s) from each colour Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Also because I love pink I feel I have to do pink too! (Becky also did multicoloured)

RED

Revlon Lip Butter in 'Candy Apple'
One of my current favourite lip products!
Essie Nail Polish in 'Snap Happy'
Love this colour and I'm a huge fan of essie nailpolishes!

PINK

Essie Nail Polish in 'Funny Face'
Current favourite colour nailpolish!
Nails Inc 'Kensington Caviar BaseCoat'
Nails Inc 'Kensington Caviar TopCoat'
MAC Powder Blush in 'Fleur Power'
My everyday blush!

Love using this when I need a small amount of coverage to brighten up my face.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (200ml)
Absolutely love this facewash, this alongside with my seaweed wash are my holy grails! Can't praise this facewash enough. I would HIGHLY recommend you try this - its excellent!

PURPLE

Revlon Nail Polish in Facets of Fuschia
This nail polish looks absolutely beautiful when applied in several layers - it has a magical depth to its glitter. Ran out and bought this as soon as I saw it on FleurDeForce's blog when she posted about it and have loved it since!

Thanks for reading my ridiculously long post!
I hope you have liked finding out about my favourite rainbow coloured beauty products - what are yours? Let me know if you do post on this tag too and I'll come check it out!

Although I could never listen to one song for the rest of my life - it would drive me mad!

Saturday - perfect weekend day! No weekdays to look forward to (just yet)!

9. Coke or Pepsi? (Or neither)
Neither - not really a big fan of soft drinks!

10. Coffee or Tea? (Again, or neither)
Tea all the way!
If I'm out I prefer to get a caramel latte!

11. You've got a whole day free, with no tasks you have to do and no plans with anyone. How would you fill your day?
If I had the money, travel to South America or South East Asia! (Although I'd probably only have time to fly there and back!)
Otherwise, I'd probably go shopping, cook a lovely meal, have some cocktails and take a nice long bath. Also spend hours on tumblr and watch tv shows!

Amsterdam

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the recent lack of blogging - have been in Amsterdam over the weekend and celebrating finishing my exams!

I went to Amsterdam with 7 other friends and after a gruelling 10 hour coach journey, we arrived in this beautiful, picturesque city! Although I was here 2 years ago, it was lovely to come back and re-explore the lovely place. Here are some photos of my trip and I hope you enjoy scrolling through them.

(Love the sloped building, Amsterdam's buildings are truly unique!)

Passed this when walking into the centre from Amstel Station - crazy hairstyles!
Cute and unique 'open' sign outside a shop
 Near Rembrandtplein

 The famous Amsterdam condomerie!
Wonderful chocolate shop and patisserie near Dam Square - I LOVE their chocolate espresso!

Outside the Stedelijk Museum - wonderful structures in a pond.

En Route to the Stedelijk Museum - after 8 years of renovation, this beautiful art gallery recently opened and I enjoyed looking through all the works although I wasn't as blown away as I expected to be after hearing rave reviews!
 VondelPark
Sitting on the IAmsterdam sign near the Rijksmuseum

Enjoying the Amsterdam Canal in the sun
Amsterdam's town hall (complete with unicorns!) near Dam Square
Hope you had a wonderful weekend too - I shall be posting more soon and get back into the rhythm of blogging!

Eurovision Song Contest 2013

So yesterday was the Eurovision Song Contest which I've been waiting for ALL year! I love Eurovision, I love Graham Norton and most of all, my dreams came true when Eric Saade appeared in the green room for two short bursts. (In the style of Eric: #ILOVEERICSAADE!)

But hotties aside, Sweden delivered an absolutely fantastic show although this year there definitely seemed to be quite a few great songs in the running and no one was an outright winner.
________________________________

My top 3 songs of the evening were (in no particular order):

1) Denmark: Emmelie De Forest - Only Teardrops
She has an incredibly voice and a beautiful song - definitely a deserved winner. Love the flute(?) player guy!

2) The Netherlands: Anouk - Birds
A strange Eurovision entry as it's quite calm and not very trashy Europop however I absolutely love Anouk's voice and it had a beautiful chorus. Definitely stood out to me although it was not really expected to win.

3) Romania: Cezar - It's My Life
Had to throw in a hilarious one; and this is it. His hilarious naked looking dancers who were sorting a 'giant duvet' as Graham Norton said as well as his mid-way gender shift were just hilarious.
Eurovision never fails to make me laugh at least once.
Shame Montenegro didn't get voted in the final - they've been utterly hilarious in the past 2 years.

(Apologies not the final performance as it's not on youtube)

______________________________________

Oh yeah, as I mentioned Eric Saade was in the green room.
I cheered when I saw him out of excitement - genuinely was so happy!

(I'm crazy enough to have his calendar hanging in my university room...)

Here are some celebratory images of his appearance yesterday evening. Please, you see. (That was meant to be a Borat impression...across a digital interface)

Eric Saade at Eurovision 2013 (Sorry for the poor quality, print screened it off BBC iPlayer)
Eric in Eurovision 2011 with his song 'Popular' - cheesy but he's gorgeous so who cares!
HELLO!
My Swedish friends at university tell me he is the equivalent of a Justin Bieber in Sweden - great.
I LOVE HIM EVEN MORE.

(Jokes, I'm not a belieber.)

Anyway, I do hope you enjoyed the show yesterday!
What were your top 3 songs of the evening?
Should Denmark have won?
